Pacifica soy wax candles are a relatively new product at Karma, but they quickly became one of my favorite products in the store. Although we carry a nice selection of candles in various scents, and sizes I find that these high quality wonderfully scented candles are nicely priced, beautifully packaged and make perfect gifts. They are enclosed in glass and burn slowly so they last a very long time. The fragrances are strong but not overwhelming and because they are made of soy wax, which is a natural renewable resource, they are clean burning. Many scents are available but my favorite is the Thai Lemongrass - it is crisp and clean smelling, and always seems to brighten my day. *This month's staff favorite has been selected by Leo 1-16-08.
There are so many beautiful, and interesting things in the store, that it can be very difficult to pick just one thing. This month however, I think that my favorite item is Tibetan Quartz. This stone is said to hold sacred wisdom, and energy frequencies of the ancient cultures of the East. It is good for healing, meditation, relieving tension, clearing mental blocks, centering oneself, and protection. It is an excellent stone for intense work on mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Personally, I find that holding one of these ethereal stones in times of stress has been extremely calming, I have also found that when a physical ailment arises, that placing the stone on the affected area can help relieve some of the pain, and discomfort. Because of the unique, and serene vibrations of these stones, I have added about 5 of these beauties to my personal stone collection in the past year. Currently we have many Tibetan Quartz at Karma in various sizes, and price ranges.
